UnderWater World is a multi-award winning, all weather, tourist attraction located in the heart of the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
From the moment you enter UnderWater World, be ready for anything! Take a journey to another world and get in deep as you are swept over four thrilling interactive levels. Billabongs, coral reefs, rock pools, seal cove, otter encounter – it’s all there – then head on down to their underwater Oceanarium including the world-famous 80 metre transparent tunnel. You’ll be surrounded by thousands of creatures including giant sharks and rays, as well as other fearsome animals, as you go off the deep end in their two and a half million litre Oceanarium. The new Crawly Creature exhibit is now open. Guests will be taken on an interactive journey from land to deep sea featuring the world’s largest marine, land and migratory crab species in one of the largest themed exhibits of its kind. The star attractions include the Giant Japanese Spider Crab, the Robber Crabs (also known as the Coconut Crabs) and the Christmas Island Red and Blue Crabs. These creatures will astound families across the Sunshine Coast with their sheer size, appearance and unique behaviours.
